Introduction |
|
| We have designed a portable Iron loss tester. This instrument provides easy and fast measurement of iron loss of an electrical steel sheet, simply by yoke type probe placed on a small sample. This instrument measures the iron loss in terms of watt / kg at flux
density of 1.5 Tesla (at
50 Hz), by front mounted
analog meter. It has
built in regulated power
supply. |
|
Gopal make silicon
sheet tester is
calibrated to provide
measurement results,
which are in close
co-relation with those
obtained by the Epstein
method as per IS : 649.
Thus we maintained
standard cores of
different grades with
data obtained by Epstein
method. Each unit of
silicon sheet tester is
calibrated with such
standard samples, so
that readings are
equivalent with the
data of standard cores. |
